It is a condition of entry to Abbots Bromley School that all pupils whose parents live overseas have a mature and responsible UK guardian.
This may be an educational guardian (either an individual or an organisation) or a parent or a family friend. The Guardian must be over the age of 25 years old.
It is the parent’s responsibility and not the school’s responsibility, to select a guardian, bearing in mind at all times that the welfare of their child is of paramount importance when choosing an appropriate guardian. Prior to entry to the school it is important that parents inform the school of the name and contact details of the appointed guardian.
A student may not begin an education at Abbots Bromley School until guardianship is in place and the Guardianship form has been completed and returned to school. The boarding house is not open during the school holidays and students are expected to return home or stay with Guardians.
Please read our Guardianship Policy here.
