Students joining Abbots Bromley International College have a variety of options available to them when they join our Foundation Courses.
The one-year course for students with a good level of English includes ‘Cambridge First’ English and additional GCSE or iGCSE subjects – Maths, Chemistry, Physics, ICT and Native Language.
Students who need to improve their English before embarking on a Sixth Form course at Abbots Bromley School, or elsewhere, have additional English tuition alongside academic subjects.
All students enjoy a Physical Education (PE) programme which includes a wide variety of sports, taken with mainstream Y10 – Y13, a Personal Social and Health Education programme (PSHE) and Art and Drama, all taken as non-examination subjects.
The Alkins School of Dance offers recreational classes in many areas of dance and also musical theatre. Students of a good standard may join the vocational dance course and begin studies in BTEC Dance and Musical Theatre.
Abbots Bromley School offers a variety of enrichment activities. The on-site Equestrian Centre provides individual or group riding lessons with an opportunity to study for British Horse Society qualifications.
All students on our Foundation courses have one dance, music, speech and drama or riding lesson per week included in their fees as well as cultural visits included in the weekend activity programme. We are developing new courses all of the time, please don’t hesitate to contact the school if you require further information.
