The Guild

The Guild was formed in 1884 and is the Association (Alumni) for the former pupils and staff of Abbots Bromley School and Abbots Bromley International College (formerly the School of St Mary and St Anne).

A key aim of the Guild is to keep former students and staff in touch with each other and with the School. The Guild hosts reunions and social events all over the UK and abroad, providing a lifetime of friendship and a worldwide network of contacts.

The Guild provides support to former students and the School and in 1979 it obtained Charitable status. The aims of the Guild widened and other funds were established, so today the Guild operates a General Charitable Fund, Chapel Fund, Educational Fund and Pastoral Fund. These enable the Guild to provide financial assistance to members in difficult times (the care and support of our membership is of paramount importance), support the upkeep of St. Anne’s Chapel and provide scholarships and bursaries.

The Guild is divided into Circles which are named alphabetically. We usually have 3-4 year groups within each Circle – the aim being that students are grouped with people they will remember from school.

You may have joined the Guild when you left school and if you didn’t it’s never too late, all former students are welcome regardless of when they left.

It is really important that the contact details we hold are correct, so if you would like to update your details or are interested in joining then please contact our Guild Development Manager by e mail:
